Learning and Development

Learning and Development is a cross organisational programme to address the learning and development needs of our service users. It stretches right through our continuum of care working with low and high threshold service users, rough sleepers and those in our tenancy sustainment programme. There are a range of tailor-made programmes available inhouse for our service users including arts and crafts, creative writing and photography. There are also literacy and numeric programmes available.

Learning and Development also links in with a number of agencies including the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA), Dublin Adult learning Centre (DALC), National Learning Network (NLN), CDVEC and the Foundations Programme. There are also links with Business in the Community (BITC) and FAS. Service Users have options to complete junior cert or leaving cert subjects.

Continuum of Care

Learning and Development links in with all levels of Simon services to provide classes and courses for any service users who are interested in getting involved.
