Transitional Housing
Transitional Housing acts as an important stepping-stone for people to move out of homelessness and into independent living. Our project provides self-contained accommodation and a high level of support for up to 15 residents supporting them to move into independent accommodation.
Referrals
We accept referrals from:
All homeless services or agencies
- Referrals must be over 18 years of age
- Referrals must be managing addictions if present
Referral Process
Individuals are accepted on the basis of a detailed assessment of their capacity and motivation to move into independent accommodation.

Services
Our staff provide key worker support for residents through:
- Working in partnership with them to agree tailored programmes which address their needs.
- Supporting them to learn skills for independent living and assisting them to access and maintain independent accommodation.
- Providing settlement options which are carefully planned and based on realistic options.
The Maximum length of stay in Transitional Housing is 12 months.
Our service is staffed seven days a week
Additional Services
Gaining access to permanent accommodation is vital and the project is developing links with local authorities, communities, social housing providers and the private sector.
