A Midsummer Walk – 19th of June 2021
Our annual “A Midsummer walk for the Homeless” returns this year on the 19th of June and Meath couple Conor and Paula Irwin are encouraging you to get involved and join them on the day.
For the last five years, Conor and Paula Irwin have been raising vital funds for Dublin Simon Community and the wider homeless community with their annual “A Midsummer walk for the Homeless” fundraising event. To date they have raised in excess of €50,000. This year, they are inviting you to join them on Saturday 19th June. The full walk starts on the iconic Hill Of Tara and ends some five hours later on the ancient Hill of Slane.
There is also an easier option to join the walk at the Ramparts in Navan, leaving at 12 noon sharp.
While the walk this year will look a little different to previous years, due to Covid-19 and social distancing measures, the wonderful scenery and cause remain the same. Make a date in your diary and join this great group of people to walk with them on June 19th in aid of Dublin Simon Community, take in the beauty of The Boyne Valley and meet some new friends along the way!

If you are not a walker and, in a position, to make a donation, please feel free to do so here.
