The Tenant Information and Support Service works to support people to remain in their homes and give people the advice and support that they need in their local community.

This service is provided by Dublin Simon Community on behalf of Dublin City Council. This service provides advice and information in the local drop-in clinics and through visiting support on a range of issues including:
- Risk of loss of home
- Rent arrears
- Standard of rented accommodation
- Unsuitable living arrangements
- Difficulties managing the home
- Housing rights
The service works across the five administrative areas of Dublin City Council and has staff based in:
- Darndale (North Central)
- Ballyfermot & Crumlin (South Central)
- Wood Quay (Central)
- Aungier Street (South East)
- Finglas (North West)

Local Drop-In Clinics
Working in your community the Tenant Information and Support Service provide advice at our locally based clinics, see locations below. We can discuss your concerns with you and try to help you decide how best to deal with them.
North West Area
- Housing Department, Finglas Civic Centre, Mellowes Road, Finglas, Dublin 11 – Fridays, 9.30am – 12.30pm
North Central Area
- Darndale Belcamp Village Centre, The Link Road, Darndale, Dublin 17 – Mondays, 9.30am – 12.30pm
Central Area
- Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8 – Tuesdays, 9.30am – 12.30pm
Fridays, 9.30am – 12.30pm
South Central Area
- Ballyfermot Community Civic Centre, Ballyfermot Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10 – Mondays, 9.30am – 12.30pm

Visiting Tenancy Support
The Tenant Information and Support service provides practical support for all types of tenancies through Visiting Tenancy Support. This can include:
- Helping people to stay in their homes.
- Helping people with money management and entitlements.
- Linking people with appropriate services in their community. These might include educational, health or legal supports.
- Providing someone to speak or act on your behalf, if needed.
We provide ongoing visiting support in your home to help people to look at any issues with their tenancies and take action to deal with them.
You can be put in touch with us by Dublin City Council, by your key-worker or by a service that is helping you. They will send us a form and arrange a meeting for you.

We see callers face to face in our locally based clinics. We can discuss your concerns with you and try to help you decide how best to deal with them.
